Placement and Assessment Testing
The placement test (Accuplacer) is the test that the college uses to establish placement for English and Math courses, for College Credit Plus (CCP) and select health programs. The Accuplacer is offered at no charge to students and is offered in seat and virtual. The placement test must be completed prior to registration.
The college offers The Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), this assessment is a diagnostic test for those students who wish to take a refresher course in English or Math. The TABE is offered at no charge to students. This test is voluntary, students may decide when completing the college application on whether they choose to take the assessment. Anytime during the admissions and registration process, students have the choice of opting in or out of the assessment. The TABE is offered in seat and virtual.

Accuplacer Testing will take approximately 1 to 3 hours.
Testing hours on the Steubenville Campus and at the Youngstown Campus are:
Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Students may stop at the Admissions Office anytime between these hours.
