I am a student who has earned credit at another college or university and would like to continue my studies at EGCC.
You can find Transfer Credit information here.
1. Apply for Admission and Financial Aid
Click here to complete admissions application.
To begin the financial aid process, you (and a parent if you are under age 24) will need a FSAID to electronically sign the FAFSA. Obtain your FSA ID by visiting https://fsaid.ed.gov. After you have obtained your FSA ID(s), visit https://fafsa.ed.gov to compete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The EGCC school code is 007275.
2. Submit Transcripts
First time college students: Submit official final high school/GED transcript.
All transcripts can be sent to:
Eastern Gateway Community College
Attn: Admissions
4000 Sunset Blvd.
Steubenville, OH 43952
3. Take Placement Test
Students who have taken the ACT/SAT can submit those scores instead of taking the placement test.
Students who have not taken the ACT/SAT can take the Accuplacer at any of our locations.
4. Meet with an Enrollment Specialist to learn how to schedule classes.
5. Attend New Student Orientation.
6. Pay tuition and fees.
Admission to EGCC does not mean a student is eligible to enroll in any course or program. Some courses require proof of pre-requisite and some programs have select admissions.
