On top of it all, you did it during a global
pandemic when all of our worlds were turned
upside down.

This makes our gathering together today that
much more important. We are all emerging out

of a season in our country, and the world, that
future generations will read about in the history
books.

We will be asked “what it was like” and “what
we did” as we lived through this time.

You all will, confident and clearly, be able to
respond that you made it through and emerged
better than before. You created opportunities for
yourself. You started down the path of following

your dreams.

Just as you inspire us with your stories and
achievements today, you will continue to do so
as you share your story of the last two years.

And, we are so proud to be part of your story.
