Student groups and clubs are an important part of the college experience, and at Eastern Gateway, our students come together from all parts of the country to create a community among themselves based on their achievements, their interests, and their identities. However, it is important that these communities provide a safe and welcoming environment for all involved. Collin’s Law, also known as the Ohio Anti-Hazing Act, mandates that students, employees, and advisors who participate in student groups and organizations complete a brief (15-20 minute) online training module to educate you on hazing awareness and prevention. Please also review the College’s Anti-Hazing Policy available on our website.
If you are a member of a student group affiliated with EGCC (Phi Theta Kappa, SGA, IT Club, Active Minds, Student Ambassadors, Black Student Union, Writing Circle, Oak Tree Journal, etc) you are required to complete this module to be able to continue your participation.
