CHERRY INGREDIENTS
SNOWBALLS Cookie Dough
•
½ cup butter
¼ cup powdered sugar
•
• 1 egg yolk
• 1¼ cup flour
• 1 tsp almond extract
• ⅛ tsp salt
• 1 small jar maraschino cherries
Icing
• ¼ cup maraschino cherry juice (reserved from
cherries)
• ¼ cup cream
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp butter
DIRECTIONS
Cookie Dough
1. Mix butter, powdered sugar, egg yolk, flour, almond
extract, and salt until firm.
2. Pinch a small amount of dough and roll in hands.
3. Next, press the dough and wrap it around a cherry.
4. Place on greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 4-5 minutes, until slightly
brown.
SERVINGS 6. Cool.

Icing
PREP TIME
15 minutes 1. Blend all the ingredients in a bowl until smooth.
2. Dip cooled cookies, and roll in coconut, or chopped
COOK TIME pecans, is desired.
