         PASTA FAGIOLI

         INGREDIENTS                                 DIRECTIONS

                                                     1.  Fry onion in oil until semi-soft.
           •   ¼ cup oil                             2.  Add tomato paste with 2 cans of water and garlic.
           •   2 small cans tomato paste             3.  Simmer for 1 hour.
           •   3 cloves garlic                       4.  Boil pasta, when done drain, not all, but most of water; only
                                                         save two cups in case pasta is dry.
           •   1 onion                               5.  Drain the beans, add to the sauce, and keep it hot.
           •   1 lb box seashells                    6.  Add sauce and beans to pasta and then add cheese.
           •   3 cans Great Northern beans           7.  If you choose to add the optional meat to your pasta, place it
           •   1 cup Parmesan cheese                     into the mixture now.
                                                     8.  This should be soupy. Salt and pepper to taste
           •   **Optional: whatever leftover scraps of
               meat (chicken or beef), cubed
